I'm Piumi, a Sri Lankan-Australian artist based in Brisbane (Meanjin). I've been making art for as long as I can remember and over the last couple of years, that passion has grown into my career.

I make vibrant and ethereal textured artwork that look unconventional and push the boundaries of a traditional canvas. I do this through my signature style, BreakForm, where I reuse dried paint from my palette and glue it back onto the canvas to create the illusion of the canvas breaking open into another world.
